Dedicated to the memory of Richard Cutfield

After loosing my father to a sudden heart attack when he was just 53, I started to look at the world, and my place in it, very differently. I now recognize that the best way to honor the memory of our loved one’s is in the integrity of our actions, ideas and dreams.

As a part of my Dad’s legacy, I hope to empower others to consider the importance of a healthy heart as part of their wellness goals. My aim is to provide points of inspiration so nothing will hold you back from experiencing the heartiness life has to offer, and you have to offer life.

My Dad embodied the word “hearty”. He was sincere and impeccable with his word. When he looked you in the eyes and said something-he meant it. He was continually invested in self discovery and personal growth, which led him to be a person of talent and depth. He was full of vigor, strong, and in my eyes, superhuman.

A devoted leader professionally and for his family, my Dad was my compass and my guide for so many aspects of my life. I will forever look up to him.

“I am done with great things and big plans, great institutions and big successes. I am for those tiny, invisible loving human forces that work from individual to individual, creeping through the crannies of the world like so many rootlets, or like the capillary oozing water, yet which, if given time, will render the hardest monuments of human pride.” -William James
